- Represent the department to lead and guide junior engineers and provide service at customer site.
- To be responsible to ensure the service team provider proper service to customer according to Service Contract Management.
- To manage and lead junior engineers by helping them to achieve their working objectives, technical advise, system monitoring and maintenance, troubleshooting, small projects and repairing job.
- To plan and arrange or assist junior engineers to plan and arrange resources for manpower (subordinates and contractors), tools, material and schedule to carry out job task assigned.
- To assign own self or one of the staff to be H&S representative.
- To clearly define all the PPE required during work at site/treatment plant.
- To ensure all staffs who work in the treatment plan wear PPE all the time.
- To ensure all sub-contractor who works in the treatment plant wear PPE at all time.
- To report any safety incident to management immediately.
- To read & understand all the content, scope of supply, obligations in the contract.
- To ensure meeting the required KPI and/or standards and report to management immediately in case that the team is not meeting the KPI and/or standards.
- To manage subordinates in the plan and to ensure subordinate follow company and customer rules and practices.
- To follow "Service Operations Golden Rules" as a basic code of practice for the team.
- To lead and manage subordinates to perform necessary job task effectively (meeting quality, agreed time line and within budgeted cost).
- To arrange monthly meeting internally, ensure system operate in good conditions, prepare Preventive Maintenance (PM) planning and execution, carry out daily job task planning and ensure good housekeeping.
- To advise customer for parts, plant or system improvement and the best practices and fast respond to troubleshoot system abnormality.
- To inform and advise customer for parts, plant or system abnormality and suggest actions or the best practices to customer.
- To submit the report timely (according to agreed deadline) to customer and call monthly meeting (according to agreed deadline) to discuss on monthly report, AR and issue arise.
- To ensure job order/work order completed with Service Report and necessary document, carry out "On Job Training" to technician at side and when necessary and carry out task assigned by superior/HOD as and when required.
- Assist the Service Operations Manager in setting objective for the team.
- Apply the safety procedures for operations bound to their activities.
- Apply the quality procedures for operations bound to their activities.
Job Requirement:
- University Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering/Chemistry.
- Certification: CePEITSO.
- 5 - 8 years of experience on IETS.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in leading a team of Junior Engineers.
- Able to prepare report or necessary document with minimum supervision.
- Able to troubleshooting system independently.
- Knowledge in piping and technically sound.
- Good leadership.
- Take own initiative to suggest for improvement or overcome problem occurred.
- Ability to work and perform in a demanding/pressurized working environment.
- 24 hours on call.
