Job Responsibility:
- Day to day technical support and administration task for Unix servers system administrations.
- Install and configure new systems along with backup solutions and/or high availability options.
- Provide 2nd tier response, analysis and resolution planning for dated issues and seek appropriate solution for issues.
- Day to day operation task such as resolve incident ticket and change request.
- Perform preventive maintenance and performance tuning on systems.
- Initiate and follow-up on critical vendor technical support requirements.
- Document system processes and procedures.
- Maintaining, upgrade, enhance current databases in local and regional sites.
- Liaise with application groups on various projects and other system support requirements.
- Support regional team setup based on head count allocated.
- Implement, execute and comply to the defined quality, safety, health and environmental management system within the area of responsibility.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in IT/Computer – Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
- Only Solaris / AIX / HP-UX and traditional UNIX compatibles will be considered.
- Solaris 10, HP-UX servers administration experience.
- Solaris 10, HP-UX performance tuning.
- Solaris 10, HP-UX experience.
- Unix certificates will be an added advantage.
- Strong and hands-on knowledge and skills in system administration.
Job Description:
- Responsible for overall administration of the Document Control and Archiving function for both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 System.
- Liaise with Engineering, Production and QA for controlled Document Implementation.
- Liaise with the various departments to assist them to fulfil the Quality & Environmental Record archiving.
- Administer audit system as per Internal Quality & Environmental Audit requirement.
- Schedule and monitor Internal Quality and Environmental Audit requirement.
- Trigger audit schedule and monitor progress with the respective Audit Team Leaders.
- Perform audit on the Management System and Operations to provide feedback on the status of the operations.
- Prepare periodic Audit Report to the Management on the status update and Management Review.
- Monitor planned activities for the ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certification activities and provide the necessary visibility and information for actions when necessary to the Management Representative.
- Ensure the close loop corrective action plans are initiated to remedy any non-conformance raised during customer audit.
- highlight to superior any activities in the company that may be contrary to the environmental policy.
- Other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the Company from time to time.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Certificate/Diploma and above or at least 1 year experience in relevant field.
- Possess knowledge in Document Control administration and Internal Audit.
- Good communication skills as need to liaise with different departments.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
