SENIOR / RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT (PENANG-BAYAN LEPAS)

Role:

  • Provide recruitment and advisory services to both corporate clients and candidates.
  • This includes enquiries gathering, sourcing candidates, providing appropriate advices to
  • candidates, and bringing successful closure of the deal.
  • Supervise and coach Junior Recruitment Consultants to conduct behavioral based interviews, negotiating offers for Senior Consultant.
  • Develop strong business partnership with clients. 

Job Description:

1.  Candidates
  • Build candidates sources by researching and contacting the company database, internet portal sites, LinkedIn, job posting through media, and own network.
  • Determine candidates qualifications by interviewing (face-to-face) candidates, analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job enquiries.
  • Providing the necessary advices and guidance to candidates in terms of the enquiries from clients including job descriptions and qualifications.
  • Place the candidates to the appropriate job positions offered by clients, setting up interview sessions and negotiating the offer.
2.  Clients
  • Seek to develop relationships with new/existing clients that will generate new business opportunities for the Company.
  • Work closely with PICs and decision makers at clients to ensure the timely and proper recruitment process to bring the successful closure of positions required, and collection of placement fees within the specified time frame.
  • Identify potential enquiries, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
  • Work with Business Development Manager to develop proposals that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
  • Participate in pricing Terms of Business.
3.  Sales
  • Manage the whole recruitment process and ensure successful closure of the deal to achieve the individual sales target.
  • Track and record activities on accounts from time to time and help close deals to meet those targets.
4.  Self-development
  •  Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal network, esp. in LinkedIn; participating in professional organizations.
  • Ensure the overall database for candidates and clients in safe order & current and continues building up the pool of database. 
  • Required to complete client/candidate newsletter to send out on a regular basis, and any survey related to recruitment business, or any other ad-hoc projects assigned by the Division Manager.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO CEO (PENANG-BUKIT MINYAK)

Job Description:
  • To provide full range of confidential personal assistant and secretarial duties to CEO.
  • To provide general administrative support and assistant to the CEO.
  • To ensure all aspects of the CEO's office is organized efficiently and effectively.
  • To plan, arrange and manage appointments for the CEO.
  • Answer phone calls and screen CEO's incoming calls and responds independently when possible; take incoming telephone messages as required.

Job Responsibility:
  • Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Management and make recommendations to enhance financial performance and business decisions.
  • Continuously review and formulate internal control operating procedures to improve management reporting and support business analysis for senior management decision making.
  • Provide leadership with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
  • Oversee accounting processes including billing, payables and month-end closing, ensuring accurate account reconciliations and account analysis.
  • Provide timely financial reporting for review and consolidation.
  • Responsible for financial audits, tax returns and compliance to legislative requirements.
  • Liaise and coordinate with regional offices, auditors, bankers and other professional bodies to ensure compliance.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant finance exposure with at least 4 years in a managerial position.
  • Familiar with computerized accounting system, software.
  • A member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants MIA/ACCA, CPA is essential.
  • Good exposure in financial management in Retail industry.
  • Strong business sense with good analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Able to work within tight deadlines, independently with minimum supervision and self motivated.

ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVES / ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER (PENANG-BUKIT MINYAK)

Job Responsibility:
  • To manage and oversee the overall day-to-day operation finance management and related activities.
  • Prepare financial report and involve in financial analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end close process.
  • To assist in the implementation of operational and accounting system and system controls.

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (PERAK-TAIPING)

Job Description:

Primary Function
Manage the overall function of the Finance Division so as to be a strategic business partner to the organization in achieving its business plan and profit target.
  • Secure banking facilities to meet corporate borrowings requirement in the business plan to finance capital expenditure and working capital.
  • Monitor and report actual versus budget to facilitate corrective actions to achieve business plan.
  • Manage credit control to minimize bad debts.
  • To ensure that the financial affairs of the company are conducted in such a way that is in compliance with the statutory requirements and Accepted Standard Accounting Practices.
  • To provide advise/comments to the management with regards to the financial affairs of the company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the smooth operation of treasury, management & financial accounting, credit control, taxation, payroll, factory accounting and costing.
  •  Ensure yearly business plan and budget are completed and approved by Management within the deadline. Monitor monthly actual versus budget and report major variances to Management.
  • Ensure timely closing of monthly accounts and get Management's approval for the monthly accounts closing, Ensure timely distribution of the financial and cost reports to the relevant internal and external recipients.
  • Securing funding as required in the business plan to finance capital expenditure and working capital. Monitor bank facilities utilization versus approved bank facilities to ensure utilization within limit. Maintain good relationship with the banks.
  • Plan & manage cash flow to ensure all payment commitments are paid within terms.
  • Ensure all credit control procedures and policy are adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance to J-SOX requirements on the internal control on financial reporting in order to prevent misreporting or fraud.
  • Co-ordinate between directors and Company Secretary on company secretarial matters.
  • Work closely with tax agents to ensure compliance to corporate tax reporting and payment of tax liabilities if any. Ensure compliance to reporting & payment dateline of sales tax, withholding taxes, MTD, EPF, SOCSO, Tabung Haji, HRDF and expatriate income taxes.
  • Ensure annual general insurance policies renewal and co-ordinate insurance risk survey.
  • Conduct half-yearly stock check for raw materials, engineering parts & finished goods and provide Management with the stock check results.
  • Ensure smooth internal & external audit and response to any audit queries. Make audit adjustment where relevant.
  • Provide OEM Manager with price quotation computation and assist during price negotiation when requested.
  • Responsible for the training of subordinates in developing their potentials.
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
Limit of Authority
  •  Authority to sign cheques with another signatory, up to maximum of RM 50K with Group C, RM 250K with Group B and exceeding RM 250K with Group A. Authority to sign other documents as per Authority Limit Chart.
  • All action & decision are in compliance to the statutory requirements & Accepted Standard Accounting Practices.

Job Requirement:
  •  A degree or a qualifies member of a Chartered Accountancy body that is recognized by Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysia.
  • Chartered member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysia.
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in the Finance Division with 5 years as the head of Finance Division.
  • Must possess good communication skills and proficient in written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Familiar with SAP computerized accounting system.
  • Must possess the necessary knowledge and skills in financial management, IFRS, corporate tax and credit control management.
  • Possess leadership qualities and able to provide leadership to lead a team of financial managers, executives and staff.
