SENIOR / RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT (PENANG-BAYAN LEPAS)

Role:

  • Provide recruitment and advisory services to both corporate clients and candidates.
  • This includes enquiries gathering, sourcing candidates, providing appropriate advices to
  • candidates, and bringing successful closure of the deal.
  • Supervise and coach Junior Recruitment Consultants to conduct behavioral based interviews, negotiating offers for Senior Consultant.
  • Develop strong business partnership with clients. 

Job Description:

1.  Candidates
  • Build candidates sources by researching and contacting the company database, internet portal sites, LinkedIn, job posting through media, and own network.
  • Determine candidates qualifications by interviewing (face-to-face) candidates, analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job enquiries.
  • Providing the necessary advices and guidance to candidates in terms of the enquiries from clients including job descriptions and qualifications.
  • Place the candidates to the appropriate job positions offered by clients, setting up interview sessions and negotiating the offer.
2.  Clients
  • Seek to develop relationships with new/existing clients that will generate new business opportunities for the Company.
  • Work closely with PICs and decision makers at clients to ensure the timely and proper recruitment process to bring the successful closure of positions required, and collection of placement fees within the specified time frame.
  • Identify potential enquiries, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
  • Work with Business Development Manager to develop proposals that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
  • Participate in pricing Terms of Business.
3.  Sales
  • Manage the whole recruitment process and ensure successful closure of the deal to achieve the individual sales target.
  • Track and record activities on accounts from time to time and help close deals to meet those targets.
4.  Self-development
  •  Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal network, esp. in LinkedIn; participating in professional organizations.
  • Ensure the overall database for candidates and clients in safe order & current and continues building up the pool of database. 
  • Required to complete client/candidate newsletter to send out on a regular basis, and any survey related to recruitment business, or any other ad-hoc projects assigned by the Division Manager.

Job Requirement:
  • At least a Diploma or Degree in any business field or equivalent.
  • Strong passion in recruitment field.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
  • People-oriented, result driven and good follow-ups.
  • Those with sales & marketing experience would be an advantage.
