MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - OPERATIONS (KULIM)

Job Description:
- To review engineering documentation for Manufacturability and to support transitioning engineering projects to production.
- To develop new and review existing designs for manufacturability Improvements for cost reduction and improved quality.
- Maintain and update manufacturing assembly procedures.
- Evaluate new proposed equipment according to process standards.
- Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
- To investigate process abnormality and recommend improvement for optimal performance.
- To assist the Production Manager in day to day operation.
- To work closely with other departments in process trouble shooting.
- To perform any other duties as and when required by his/her immediate superior.

Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering or Physical Science or the equivalent.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards, statistical methods and SPC tools.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes.
- Knowledge of Engineering Techniques and Practices.
- Possess excellent data analysis and collection skills.
- At least 5 years' working experience in Semiconductor or related field is required for this position.
- Must have experience in die attach assembly process (FOL)./ pre-bonding / diepreparation.
