- Authors official documents eg. letters and reports (for internal or external use).
- Responsible for significant and complex activities or projects.
- Works under minimal supervision.
- Responsible for meeting agreed deadlines.
- Responsible for the design/delivery of events, activities, processes, and/or projects which have a major impact on the management of the business: allocates tasks and coordinates activities.
- responsible for predicting and planning future resources which may include setting up new projects (technical or business) and project plans.
- Executes responsibilities as outlined in firm's Quality Management System.
- Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own and others' work.
- Responsible for the performance, work and development of others, providing guidance, training, motivational and directional feedback.
- Represents the Company/discipline/profession at internal and external meetings.
- Contributes to the development and/or implementation of plans for the longer term benefits to the office/firm.
- A recognised degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent.
- Member of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia.
- Preferably, Professional membership with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia or Registered with Board of Engineers, Malaysia.
- 5 - 10 years working experience: Design of reinforced concrete and/or structural steel building/structures, all preferably with consulting engineering firms.
- knowledge of common engineering analysis software.
- Familiar with local authority submission and standards on civil and structural related matters.
- Good communication skills.
- Pleasant personality and able to work closely with other team members.
