FLOOR MANAGER (PENANG - GEORGETOWN)

Job Description:
  • Assist restaurant manager in sales and marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.
  • Assist restaurant manager in staff discipline and development.
  • Ensure cleanliness of restaurant and assets such as tables and chairs are properly arranged.
  • Manage service staff and provide them with feedback.
  • Plan and delegate workload of service staff in each shift.
  • Greet and serve customers and organizing table reservations.
  • Advice customers on choice of menus.
  • Respond to customer's complain and provide solutions.
  • Prepare cash drawers and provide adequate petty cash.
  • Help in any are of function of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
Job Requirement:
  • Bachelor Degree holders (with hospitality background preferred).
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible and able to work in a team.
  • Multi-tasking, record keeping and knowledge of product and understanding of food issues.
  • Japanese speaking candidates are most welcome.
