FLOOR MANAGER (PENANG - GEORGETOWN)
Job Description:
- Assist restaurant manager in sales and marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes.
- Assist restaurant manager in staff discipline and development.
- Ensure cleanliness of restaurant and assets such as tables and chairs are properly arranged.
- Manage service staff and provide them with feedback.
- Plan and delegate workload of service staff in each shift.
- Greet and serve customers and organizing table reservations.
- Advice customers on choice of menus.
- Respond to customer's complain and provide solutions.
- Prepare cash drawers and provide adequate petty cash.
- Help in any are of function of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree holders (with hospitality background preferred).
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible and able to work in a team.
- Multi-tasking, record keeping and knowledge of product and understanding of food issues.
- Japanese speaking candidates are most welcome.
